Supernatural: Season 2 (2006) Cre: Eric Kripke

Season 2 picks up where its predecessor left off, and takes it a step further by making some big changes in plot and character arcs. It also has a far more consistent season arc than last season, which was immediately a big positive for me.
Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki return, and are joined by a host of new side characters and antagonists, each of whom bring more intrigue and mystery to an already suspenseful season.

This second season saw the culmination of one of the big narrative arcs of the show thus far, but, as I'm sure you can imagine, it introduced a multitude of new storylines to follow up on.
For the most part, the season took some big positive steps in improving the general product of the show. I for one thought this season was a solid improvement on the debut season.

The main arc is very intriguing, and sees a lot of the questions from the first season answered, while also bringing new ones to the fore for future seasons - exactly what you want from a second season.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this sophomore effort from Eric Kripke. All the little things that season 1 didn't do so well, season 2 definitely did better. I was excited to move onto season 3 as soon as possible.
