Battlestar Galactica: Classic #1 (2018) By John Jackson Miller

Ridley Coote

I have been aware of Battlestar Galactica for quite a while, though I have only been able to watch a few episodes of the modern iteration of the television series in that time. I was quite excited by the prospect of exploring the universe a little more, through this 2018 release.

In this pilot issue, John Jackson Miller quickly and concisely introduced the main protagonists, the galaxy which homed them, and several entities for them to interact with. I wouldn't say it was the most exciting beginning to a graphic novel series, but it ticked all the necessary boxes.
