Keep Sweet: Pray And Obey (2022) Dir: Rachel Dretzin

Letterboxd post:

This limited series tells the story of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the shocking events that detail much of its strange and controversial history.

What started out as a bizarre and disturbing case turned into something far more horrific and sickening than I could have imagined.

The presentation of the series is very well executed for the most part, though at times the pacing could have been better.

The opening title music was both extremely catchy and relevant to the documentary's aesthetic. The rest of the soundtrack was also well in keeping with the subject matter.

Honestly, the subject matter was almost as disturbing as any of the serial killer documentaries I've seen.
